We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Analyst to join our team and support our clients across a range of financial operations. This role is part of a dynamic BPO environment, delivering high-quality finance and accounting services to clients in Australia and other regions.

As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for executing and supporting daily financial processes, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other general accounting and finance functions. You will work closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process end-to-end payroll activities for client accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, reconciliation, and payment tracking.
  • Prepare financial reports and assist in the analysis of client financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with client finance teams and internal departments to resolve discrepancies and improve financial workflows.
  • Maintain accurate and organised financial records in accordance with client and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities as required.
  • Ensure all financial practices meet the compliance and audit standards applicable to each client.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a financial analyst or similar finance/accounting role, preferably within a BPO or shared services environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of payroll processes and systems, including exposure to Australian payroll regulations (preferred but not essential).
  • Solid understanding of accounts payable and receivable procedures, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and tools (e.g. Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with international clients and internal teams.
  • Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote or hybrid work setup.
