Scrum Master

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Scrum Master to guide and support agile teams delivering projects for our clients in a fast-paced BPO environment. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring teams follow Scrum principles to deliver high-quality outcomes efficiently.

As a Scrum Master, you will work closely with product owners, developers, QA, and other stakeholders to foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. You’ll serve as a servant-leader and coach, helping teams mature in their agile practices and supporting successful delivery across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate all standard Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Act as a coach and mentor to agile teams, ensuring alignment with Scrum principles and client expectations.
• Identify and remove blockers to team progress, promoting a culture of problem-solving and ownership.
• Track and report key performance metrics such as sprint velocity, burndown charts, and team capacity.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure the backlog is well-defined, prioritised, and ready for upcoming sprints.
• Promote effective communication and collaboration within and across teams and with client stakeholders.
• Foster a safe and open environment for constructive feedback and continuous improvement.
• Support the adoption of agile tools and workflows, such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent platforms.
• Participate in scaling efforts, potentially supporting multiple Scrum teams or contributing to agile transformations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in a BPO, MSP, or software delivery environment.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and Agile delivery principles.
• Hands-on experience using tools such as Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities with a proactive, servant-leader approach.
• Experience working with distributed or remote teams is highly desirable.
